In March, 30 of the best hardcourt women’s college volleyball players will be invited to tryout at the first-ever AVP-sanctioned beach volleyball combine. Of those 30, eight will be selected for the Collegiate Beach Volleyball National Championship in Reno. The athletes will be paired up and divided into four teams to be coached by some of the world’s best players. After two days of competition, the final match will determine who’ll be crowned Beach Volleyball National champion and given a spot on the AVP Tour.
Venue: Harrah’s Plaza, 219 North Center Street, downtown Reno.
Parking is available at the Harrah’s parking garage located on Center street. The event is free and open to the public.
Schedule: Friday, April 21 – Saturday, April 22.
Players will be pre-selected for competition.
