Sophomore Alicia Nelson Volleyball Loses to Rhode Island, 3-0
Stony Brook University's volleyball team lost to Rhode Island, 3-0 (17-25, 22-25, 18-25), Thursday night in the opening match of the Art Carmichael Invitational in Keaney Gymnasium. Senior Gulce Nazli Dikecligil (Istanbul, Turkey) led both teams with 13 kills and also had eight digs. Stony Brook falls to 2-2 with the loss while Rhode Island improves to 3-2.
