Southwestern Athletic Conference Preview
SWAC East
Mississippi Valley State was the only team to post an overall winning record in the conference in 2007, and they should have another chance to do so with three of the top four batters returning in 2008. Junior pitcher Nikki Stouder returns half of the starting rotation, but Mississippi Valley should be able to outscore opponents if they cannot find a second pitcher.
