Newport Beach, CA (Feb. 25) - Loyola Marymount women's water polo placed 10th in the 2007 UC Irvine Anteater Invitational on Sunday at the Corona del Mar High School pool with a split in the final day of action. Senior Cara Colton scored with 29 seconds remaining to defeat No. 10 Arizona State 9-8 but then fell in overtime to San Diego State, 8-6.

The Lions see their record go to 8-3 on the season. Nicole Hughes scored three goals in the win over Arizona State while Cara Colton had a pair against the Aztecs.
