Chelle Ticeson (13) has been named to the All-Tournment Teams at both B-CU Tournaments to open the 2008 season.

Coach Vanessa Cogswell's B-CU volleyball team (0-7) looks for the home court to be a welcoming venue opening up the 2008 home season Tuesday night, 7pm vs. Savannah State University (3-1).

B-CU has competed at two tournaments to open the season (at Florida Atlantic (0-3) and at Mercer -0-4,) losing to FAU, Northern Iowa, N. Florida (in five games), Auburn, Georgia Southern, Presbyterian, and Mercer.

Junior middle blocker Chelle Ticeson leads the team in several stat categories including total blocks (46/2.0 game), hitting percentage (.317), and total blocks (15). Chelle earned all-tournment team honors at both the FAU and Mercer Tournments to pace the Wildcats.

Julie Gibson is the team assist leader with 87 (4.83 game) and Daryl Rodriguez has 44 assists (3.67 game).  Danielle Goodman (Jr. OH) is second on the team with 37 kills and she is the team digs leader with 40.

B-CU's 2008 Volleyball Schdule (see PDF doc on the volleyball website pages). The Wildcats continue to prep for the MEAC season openers (Oct. 5-6, hosting South Carolina State and Norfolk State).
