CSTV Announces 2007 Women's Volleyball Programming Schedule

AVCA Match of the Week debuts Friday, August 24

NEW YORK (August 22, 2007) - For the fifth consecutive season, CSTV and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) will bring fans more collegiate volleyball than any other network, including a comprehensive schedule of programming featuring the nation's elite teams.  The network today announced the AVCA MATCH OF THE WEEK schedule, which includes 25 matches and three conference championships.  The schedule kicks off on Friday, August 24 with both semifinal matches of the AVCA College Volleyball Showcase from Omaha, Neb.

The 2007 CSTV volleyball schedule showcases elite collegiate teams including defending NCAA champion and preseason No. 1 University of Nebraska, as well as national runner-up Stanford University (#2), Texas (#4), UCLA (#5), Florida (#7), Washington (#8), BYU (#17) and many more.  The schedule also features top rivalries, including Texas @ Nebraska and UCLA @ Stanford.

Jason Knapp will handle play-by-play duties, while veteran broadcaster Anne Marie Anderson serves as the lead analyst throughout the season.  Additionally, Olympic Bronze Medalist Holly McPeak and Tammy Blackburn will provide analysis of select matches.
