CSTV Announces Volleyball TV Schedule

IRVING, Texas (SMU) - CSTV will once again bring fans the top women's collegiate volleyball action in 2006 with a comprehensive schedule of programming featuring four Conference USA match-ups and many of the nation's elite teams. The network today announced the fall 2006 NCAA Volleyball on CSTV, AVCA Match of the Week schedule. The SMU Mustangs will be featured at 6:00 p.m. ET as Houston visits SMU on Nov. 12.

The schedule includes more than 25 matches and five conference championships including the C-USA championship match on Sunday, Nov. 19. For the second consecutive year, the C-USA Championship match will be aired live on CSTV with the 2006 event taking place at Hofheinz Pavilion in Houston, Texas beginning at 6:00 p.m. ET.

The first C-USA regular season contest will feature the Cam Henderson Center on the campus of Marshall as the Thundering Herd hosts Tulane at 6:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 24. C-USA teams will then be featured on back-to-back Sundays with Tulsa at Memphis (6:00 p.m. ET) on Oct. 15 and Houston at Marshall (6:00 p.m. ET) on Oct. 22. The final regular season game will be the SMU/Houston match-up from Dallas.

In addition, CSTV announced broadcast times for its ground-breaking, performance-based reality series "Go Pro or Go Home," which documents the top women's collegiate volleyball players on and off the sand as they transition from the hard-court to the beach game. The three-part reality series debuts on Sunday, September 3 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The other two episodes will air 9/10 and 9/17 at 8:00 p.m.

Jason Knapp and Chris McGee will alternate handling play-by-play duties, while Olympic Bronze Medalist Holly McPeak and Tammy Blackburn provide expert analysis. Veteran broadcaster Anne Marie Anderson will serve as both play-by-play and analyst throughout the season.
