LOUISVILLE, Ky. - - The University of Louisville softball will host the 2005 Louisville Fall Softball Tournament Sept. 24-25 at Ulmer Stadium. In addition to the Cardinals, the tournament field Eastern Kentucky, Morehead State and Western Kentucky.

U of L set a new record for wins in the 2005 season with a 43-20 record. The Cards won their first C-USA regular season title, finished runner-up in the league tournament and earned their second consecutive at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. Louisville returns 12 letterwinners from last year's team including the 2005 Conference USA Co-Player of the Year Courtney Moore and fellow All-C-USA selections Audrey Rendon, Lacy Wood and Catherine Bishop.

The tournament schedule is as follows:

Saturday, Sept. 24
10 a.m.	Eastern Kentucky vs. Morehead State
Noon 	Eastern Kentucky vs. Western Kentucky
2 p.m. 	Louisville vs. Morehead State
4 p.m.	Louisville vs. Western Kentucky

Sunday, Sept. 25
10 a.m.	Morehead State vs. Western Kentucky
Noon 	Louisville vs. Eastern Kentucky
2 p.m.	1 seed vs. 2 seed
4 p.m.	3 seed vs. 4 seed
