AMES, Iowa -- The Iowa State softball team will play host to a fall softball tournament on Sept. 20-21 at the Southwest Athletic Complex in Ames. Teams included in the tournament are Drake, Grandview College and Iowa Central Community College. Admission to the tournament is free.

The tournament will start at noon on Saturday when Iowa State takes on Drake. The Cyclones will then play Iowa Central Community College at 2 p.m., and ICCC again at 4 p.m. On Sunday, Iowa State and Drake will again play at noon, followed by an ISU-Grandview game at 2 p.m., and at 4 p.m.

The Cyclones will conclude their fall season on Sept. 27-28, when they take part in the Iowa Fall Challenge, hosted by Drake. That tournament includes Iowa State, Iowa, Northern Iowa and Drake.
