WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilermaker softball team will make its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance on Friday, when Purdue faces No. 20 Nevada. The Boilermakers will then play Saturday against either No. 5 UCLA or Cal State Fullerton in the double elimination Regional format.

TV Time
All action from the Los Angeles Regional, begining with Purdue's 5:30 p.m. (EST) Friday game with Nevada will be televised live on ESPNU. Beth Mowins will be the play-by-play announcer with Tracy Warren offering analysis of the action.
Notes About the NCAA Tournament
Sixty-four teams will vie for the title of NCAA Softball Champions. Thirty teams received automatic berths for winning their conference title or conference tournament title, while 34 more eearned at-large berths. The Championships will culminate with the Women's College World Series beginning May 29 in Oklahoma City, Okla.
