STOCKTON, Calif.- The Pacific softball program has announced its schedule of summer camps for softball players ages 8-18. The camps, which will take place at Bill Simoni Field on the University of the Pacific campus, will feature instruction from Pacific head coach Brian Kolze and assistant coaches Sara Hayes and Cindy Ball.
The Pacific coaching staff will offer two sessions this summer, the Pacific softball camp and the Nike softball camp. The Pacific softball camp is for girls aged 8-12 and runs from June 13-16. The camp will run from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day. The day camp will entail the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, pitching, base running, conditioning and specifics of the camper's selected position. The cost for the camp is $100.
The Nike softball camp will run from July 18-22 and is for girls aged 10-18. The camp features include superior instruction, an 8:1 camper to instructor ratio with a daily emphasis on fundamental development, team play and much more. Each camper will receive an official Nike camp t-shirt and an official Nike camp workbook with chances to win other great Nike prizes. The cost of the camp is $415 for overnight and $315 for extended day. Overnight campers will receive softball instruction, all meals and housing, and the t-shirt, and workbook. The extended day campers will receive everything but housing and will be given lunch and dinner.
