Boston College broke a 1-1 tie with a pair of runs in both the fifth and sixth innings. A two-out rally highlighted by an RBI single from Kristin Allain pushed two runs across in the fifth while a home run by Angela Pandolfo and an RBI single by Jenna Macchi accounted for the two runs in the sixth.

Ivy League Rookie and Co-Pitcher of the Week Shelly Madick (Fr., Tarzana, Calif.) took the loss to drop to 5-3. She gave up four runs, two of them earned, on four hits over the final three innings. Michelle Daly posted the win in the circle for the Eagles, pitching the complete game en route to improving to 8-6 on the season.
The Eagle bats were hot in game two - despite snow flurries for most of the game - scoring 12 runs on seven hits, including four home runs.
