Just as the University of Notre Dame softball team was boarding a bus to take the team to Purdue for a doubleheader scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, the call came in that the games were cancelled due to inclement weather. The doubleheader has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 10 at 2 and 4 p.m.

Notre Dame will be back in action on the road Thursday at UIC for one game at 7 p.m., followed by BIG EAST Conference action at Providence (Saturday, April 16) and Connecticut (Sunday, April 17).
