Women's Soccer Prepares For NCAA Second Round

Spartans take on No. 1-ranked Notre Dame on Sunday at 1 p.m. in South Bend.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Michigan State women's soccer team will face No. 1 Notre Dame in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday afternoon. The Spartans (14-6-3) look to continue rolling after a 2-1 victory over Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Friday night in the first round.

MSU is 2-11 all-time against Notre Dame, which comes into Sunday's contest boasting a 22-0-0 season record. The Fighting Irish defeated Toledo in the NCAA first round, 5-2.
