River Forest, IL - The Dominican University women's soccer team toppled the Elmhurst College Bluejays on Sunday afternoon as senior Mayra Camacho (Summit, IL) scored in the 69th minute to break a scoreless tie and give the Stars their second victory of the season.

Despite being outshot on the afternoon 14-5, the Stars did not allow a single shot on goal in the second half, as freshman goalkeeper Megan Schulz (Redford, MI) logged five saves and picked up a shutout in her first career start in goal for Dominican.

The Stars now turn their attention to Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) foe and neighborhood rival Concordia University Chicago. The Stars are set to travel down Division Street and take on the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. Last season the Stars handed the Cougars an 8-0 defeat with Camacho and Michelle Reynoso each logging hat tricks in the game.
