McNeese State kicked off the second and final week of its second annual Cowboy/Cowgirl athletic roundup on Monday in Basile.

The largest turnout of the roundup was on hand for the event that was held at Basile High School. More than 125 fans took part in the roundup.

All Cowboy and Cowgirl coaches spoke on their respective programs and athletic director Tommy McClelland gave an overview of the entire athletic program including facilities upgrading and construction.

Tom Hoefer served as the master of ceremonies.

On Wednesday the tour will be in Lake Charles at the Civic Center and on Thursday it will wrap up the second year with a program at Minute Maid Park in Houston. Both events will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be refreshments and door prizes and the event is free to all.
