ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - For the second year in a row, St. Bonaventure women's soccer head coach Manoj Khettry has put together a regionally ranked recruiting class, according to Soccer Buzz's recent release.

The 12-member 2008 class that is set to join the Bonnies in the spring, earned a No. 16 ranking in the Northeast Region and a sixth place mark in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The Brown and White were also deemed the conference's "team on the rise" heading into the upcoming season. Every team that earns a regional ranking is also ranked among the top 150 classes in the nation.

"It's always an honor and extremely gratifying to have an incoming recruiting class recognized, regionally, nationally and within our conference," said Khettry. "Former assistant coach Rich Schreiner and I worked extremely hard to identify and recruit this very talented class. I've never been more excited to begin a pre-season and I'm really eager to have this group of players become integrated into an already very talented team."

St. Bonaventure was the only A-10 team in the Northeast Region to earn a ranking out of a possible four clubs. The 2007 class was Khettry's first recruiting class and the first class in program history ever to earn a regional ranking.
