Georgetown to Meet Dartmouth in NCAA Women's Lacrosse Quarterfinals

WASHINGTON, DC - The No. 5-seeded Georgetown University women's lacrosse team will travel to Hanover, N.H., to meet No. 4 seed Dartmouth College on Sunday, May 15, at Scully-Fahey Field at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for college students of participating institutions and youth 14 and under. Georgetown advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament after defeating Towson University 15-14 on Thursday, May 12, on North Kehoe Field on the GU campus. The Hoyas, ranked fourth in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Poll, have a 13-4 record going into the game.

Dartmouth moved on to the Second Round by holding on for a 9-8 victory over Syracuse in Thursday's First Round action. The Big Green enters the game with a 15-2 overall record and is ranked fifth in the current IWLCA top 20 poll.
