April 5, 2004

Princeton women's lacrosse defender Katie Norbury has been named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week for games ending April 5.

Norbury had a team-high four caused turnovers in Princeton's 16-10 Ivy League victory over Cornell this past Saturday. She also had three groundballs in that game. In a 15-8 win against Delaware at Class of 1952 Stadium, Norbury had three caused turnovers and two groundballs.

A senior co-captain for the Tigers, Norbury has started all nine games and is tied for the team lead with 16 caused turnovers. She was a second-team All-America selection for the national champion Tigers last season.

Undefeated and top-ranked Princeton (9-0, 2-0 Ivy) returns to action Wednesday, traveling to Temple for a non-conference game in Philadelphia beginning at 4 p.m.
