Savannah will meet the Bonnies on Saturday and will serve as an honorary teammate the rest of the season.

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - The St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team has expanded its roster by one for the remainder of the season. In connection with the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, the Bonnies will welcome Savannah Harvey as the newest member of their family.
Savannah was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor called Medulloblastoma in February of 2005. She later had brain surgery to remove the tumor at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida.
Though, the surgery prevented the cancer from spreading to the rest of her body, it resulted in a condition called Cerebellar Mutism. The condition left Savannah unable to swallow and speak with bouts of irritability that medication couldn't control. Since then, the incredible six-year old has relearned how to sit up, crawl, speak, stand and walk!
The daughter of Pete and Andrea Harvey, Savannah has an older brother, Noah, and a younger sister, Grace. Savannah will meet the team this weekend for the first time and will be an honorary member of the team for the rest of the season.
St. Bonaventure along with the seven other women's lacrosse members of the Atlantic 10 Conference are all supporters of the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation.
