Stack Earns Hockey East Player of the Week Honors

Chesnut Hill, MA - Boston College junior forward Kelli Stack has earned Hockey East Player of the Week Honors, according a league announcement released Monday.

Stack, a top scoring forward on the women's ice hockey team scored four goals in two league games over the weekend.

On Thursday she recorded the game winning goal 3-2 against the University of Connecticut (11/13) and followed up with her first career hat trick in a loss 5-3 against the University of Maine (11/16) on Sunday.

All three of Stack's goals against the Black Bears were scored on the Eagle's power play and goals two and three were only 10 seconds apart.

Currently ranked third in the country in points per game and fifth in goals per game, The Brooklyn Heights, OH native leads Hockey East with 12 goals and 10 assists for 22 points.

BC travels to Storrs, Conn. for their second face-off with the Huskies on Thursday November 20 at 7 p.m. before returning to the Heights for a match-up with the Terriers of Boston University on Saturday November 22 at 3 p.m.
