April 27, 2005

Thursday's (4/28) SEC-TV serves up an ace, with the spotlight on the conference's men's and women's tennis championships. The men's tournament unfolded last weekend in Athens, Ga., where the Florida Gators won their third SEC title. Meanwhile, in Tuscaloosa, Ala., the Florida women came from behind to defeat Kentucky and claim the women's crown. SEC-TV takes viewers through the tournaments, round-by-round.

Reporter Jenn Hildreth profiles the biggest jokester on the Alabama women's tennis team - Ashley Bentley. On the Crimson Tide's official website, Bentley claims that she choreographed the Alabama gymnastics routines, while also scripted a music video for R&B vocal artist Usher. Hildreth catches up with Bentley and tries to figure what's fact, and what's fiction. "Big Time," as she is sometimes called by her teammates, steps up in the big moments by creating chaos for her opponents with her strong forehand and deceptive serve.
