Eneroth Leads Cougars at Ptarmigan Classic

Cougars shoot two-round score of 598

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Senior Amy Eneroth leads the Cougars into the third round of the Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic at the par-72, 6,207-yard Ptarmigan Country Club, finishing the day tied for 21st with a 2-over par 176.

Fellow senior Jessica Black is only one stroke back of Eneroth, currently in a tie for 30th with a 147 (+3). Freshman Lauren Howell carded a 152 (+8), while freshman Andrea Rosete posted a 155 (+11). Rounding out the lineup was sophomore Allison Travis, who shot a 156 (+12).

After 36 holes, the Cougars sit in 12th place with a team score of 598.

"We were solid with the two seniors, and the other three younger players all did some good things," said Head Coach Walt Williams, "I look for continued improvement not only tomorrow but as we continue into the season ahead."

Play continues tomorrow with the third and final round. A shotgun start will begin at 8:30 a.m.
