EAST LANSING, Mich. - Two members of the Michigan State women's golf team were selected to the 2007-08 National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American Scholar Team. Recent graduate Jordyn Wells and rising sophomore Michelle Bowles were among 402 Division I, II & III women student-athletes, who were recognized for their accomplishments both on and off the course.

This marks the seventh-straight season in which two Spartans were honored by the NGCA and in total 27 MSU women's golfers have been named NGCA Scholar All-Americans. Wells was previously honored as a sophomore.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team requires a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 and that student-athletes must have competed in at least 50% (Division I) or 66% (Division II & III) of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
