CHANDLER, AZ - Gonzaga University shot a final-round 317 to move up two places to 12th Tuesday as the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic hosted by the University of Wyoming concluded.

The Bulldogs finished with a 973, just two strokes out of 11th place. Eastern Washington University captured the team title with a 950 for a 3-shot advantage over the hosts.

Sage Suffecool was the top Gonzaga finisher in a tie for 18th, shooting a final-round 79 for a 54-hole total of 234 over the 6,108-yard, par-72 Ocotillo Golf Resort layout. Suffecool posted scores of 77-78 during Monday's opening two rounds.

Kristina Gargaro of EWU shot a tournament record 69 Tuesday and won a scorecard playoff with Hillary Gerster of South Dakota State University, the duo finishing at 221.

The tournament was the final tune-up for the Bulldogs prior to the West Coast Conference Championship to be held Monday and Tuesday at Chambers Bay Golf Course in Dupont, Wash., located outside of Tacoma.
