La Salle dropped a pair of games over the weekend, including a tough 2-1 loss to Robert Morris which ended in two short-handed goals in the final two minutes, denying La Sallei its second win of the season. The Explorers (1-3) will travel to Towson to tangle with the Tigers on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 4:00pm.

Massachusetts notched a pair of victories over the weekend, which included the Minutewomen's first win against Northeastern since Oct. 31, 1999. Jill Powers (Leominster, Mass.) added her 17th career goal to secure a win over Dartmouth. Ten of Powers' goals have been game-winners. The Minutewomen (3-1) have now won three straight contests heading into a Sept. 12 showdown against No. 4 UConn at 6:00pm.

Richmond freshman forward Katelin Peterson (Escondido, Calif.) scored both goals for the Spiders over the weekend, as as they were first overtaken by No. 16 Princeton, 2-1, and Columbia, 2-1. She has now scored a goal in each of the first four games of her collegiate career. The Spiders (1-3) return to action on Sept. 10 with a match at Old Dominion at 1:00pm.

Saint Joseph's freshman goalkeeper Kelly Swanick (Malvern, Pa.) made seven saves, including two on the final sequence of the game, to preserve a 2-1 victory against Fairfield in the Hawks only contest of the weekend. The Hawks (2-1) will now hit the road for five straight games. The first will be Sept. 10 at Penn with game time scheduled for 7:15pm.

Stephanie Ertzberger (Wexford, Pa.), a sophomore midfielder,, has scored in three of the four SLU games this season. Her four goals lead the team and currently ranks in a tie for second in the Conference. The Billikens (1-3) are next in action on Saturday, Sept. 13, when they take on nationally-ranked Michigan in a match played in Muncie, Ind.

Temple got off to a 3-0 start, its first since 2003, with an overtime victory over nationally-ranked Boston University.. Senior goalkeeper Erin Hanshue (Hummelstown, Pa.) added 19 saves over the weekend, bringing her Conference-leading total to 28 in 2008. The Owls (3-1) are next scheduled to take on No. 6 Penn State on Sept. 10, with action slated to begin at 4:00pm.

West Chester picked up its second straight overtime win on Sept. 7, holding Monmouth to without a shot on goal during the contest. West Chester must prepare for national power North Carolina this weekend as the Rams host the third annual Vonnie Gros Classic on Sept. 12-13.
