COLUMBUS, Ohio - Sophomore Saskia Mueller and senior Laura Rosenwinkel were named the 2004 field hockey team captains, Anne Wilkinson, head coach, announced Sunday following team practice.

As a freshman Mueller (So., Zuerich, Switzerland/Gymnasium Unterstrass) was integral to the Ohio State defense, receiving Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors and earning a selection to the 2003 Big Ten All-Tournament Team.

A steady contributor to the Buckeye defense, Rosenwinkel (Sr., Glenside, Pa./Springfield) started 19 of 20 games during her junior campaign and recorded her first career assist against Louisville.
