Nine players score for Aggies during 24-2 run in second half

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S. Virgin Islands (AP) - Patrice Reado scored 14 points to lead No. 11 Texas A&M to a 70-36 victory over Wichita State on Thursday in the Paradise Jam.

The Aggies (3-0) took a 32-14 halftime lead and kept the pressure on by diving for loose balls throughout the game.

Nine players scored for the Aggies during 24-2 run in the second half that put the game out of the reach. The run was capped by Katrina Limbaha's jumper that made it 58-20 with 8:10 remaining.

Takia Starks and La Toya Micheaux each had 13 points.

Daria Frazier and Marcy Sudbeck led Wichita State (1-2) with eight points each.

The Aggies, who face Wake Forest in the second round of the tournament Friday, scored 37 points off 30 Wichita State turnovers and had 16 assists.
