Lady Lions to Hold Walk-On Tryouts

Meeting for students interested in trying out will be help Sept. 27 at 4 p.m.

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Penn State women's basketball staff will be holding a meeting for all women interested in trying out of the Lady Lions this season. The meeting will take place on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 4 p.m. in 133 East Area Locker Room.

The Lady Lions open the 2007-08 season as they host the WBCA/Basketball Travelers Classic at the Bryce Jordan Center November 9-11. Penn State will face Arizona on Nov. 9, before meeting Charlotte (Nov. 10) and in-state rival Pittsburgh (Nov. 11).
