WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Big Ten Conference announced Wednesday the full women's basketball television schedule for the 2004-05 season. Of the 19 definite regular-season league games that will be televised, Purdue will play in six.

Purdue first will appear on the small screen Sunday, Jan. 16, when they play at Notre Dame as part of the Big Ten/Big East Challenge. The game between the Boilermakers and Fighting Irish will be broadcast on ESPN2.

Purdue once again will appear on ESPN2 on Sunday, Feb. 13, when they face Minnesota in Minneapolis.

FSN Chicago, formerly known as Fox Sports Chicago, will televise three Purdue home games: Minnesota on Jan. 13, Penn State on Feb. 6, and Ohio State on Feb. 24. The Purdue game at Penn State on Jan. 20 also will air on FSN Chicago.

FSN Chicago will broadcast the first nine games of the 2005 Big Ten Tournament. ESPN2 will air the Big Ten Tournament final on Monday, March 7.

Purdue played in seven televised regular-season games in 2003-04.
