Q. Where is your hometown?
A Severna Park,
Q. At what age did you realize that basketball was something that you wanted to pursue?
A. About 3rd grade I knew I wanted to pursue basketball in college.
Q. As far as professional basketball is concerned who would you say are players that you idolize?
A. I idolized Cynthia Cooper and Scottie Pippen.
Q. Growing up were there any other sports that you were involved in besides basketball?
A Lacrosse and Basketball were my main sports, I also played soccer, softball, tennis, swimming when i was younger
Q. What made you want to attend Mt St Mary's University?
A. I wanted a small school close to home but not too close. I also wanted to be at a school with a great basketball program and Mount Saint Mary's University fit that criteria.
Q. Was it difficult for you to adjust to the college atmosphere?
A. At first it was a difficult adjustment just getting used to all the changes, but I think I adapted pretty quickly.
Q. Was it difficult being an incoming freshman in a college program?
A.. Being the only freshman was hard at first because I was the only new player and I had to come into a group that was already close. The team was great and welcomed me right away so that made it a lot easier.
Q. What was your overall assessment of this past season?
A.I think we did very well this year. We improved our record. I think we could have gone further in the playoffs. Personally, I could look to be more of an offensive threat and to become of a leader on the floor. I need to keep learning from the veteran players and share my knowledge with the incoming players for us to be as good as we can be as a team.
Q. What do you feel are your greatest strengths as a basketball player?
A. I think my strengths are being able to see the floor well and understanding game situations. Also I am flexible and comfortable in different positions on the floor. I have the desire to play and never give up.
Q. What role do your parents play in your basketball career and are they your biggest critics?
A. My dad has had an influence on me. Growing up he was mostly my coach or assistant coach. So I always talk to him about basketball and get advice from him. My mom just makes sure I am healthy. I wouldn't say they are my biggest critics but they are up there.
Q. Do you have any pre-game rituals that you do prior to game time?
A This might be weird but my shoes have to be tied a certain way. I also just go over my goals and what I need to do to help my team be succesful.
Q. What are some things that you like to do in your free time?
A. I enjoy hanging out with friends, and shopping and SLEEPING!
Q. Besides basketball what do you like most about Mt St Mary's University?
A. I like the people here. It's a great environment. Also how you don't have to walk long distance to get to places.
Q. What can we expect from you as a player next year?
A. You can expect me to become a better player and give over 100 percent. My goal is for the team to get better every game, every week.
Q. What is your favorite Movie?
A. Favorite Movie: My Best Friends Wedding and of course Love and Basketball
Q. What kind of music do you like to listen to?
A. All kindas, but mostly R&B, rap and country
Q. How does it feel to play for Vanessa Blair, one of the best women's basketball players in Mount history?
A. It's amazing. She can relate to us so much and she understand what we are going through. She's a great coach and has so many great things to teach us. Also I felt honored to be able to wear the same jersey number as she did.
