Kathryn Chapman Signing Letter of Intent

5.21.08 - OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City recently signed Navajo senior Kathryn Chapman to play women's basketball for the 2008-2009 season.
Chapman, an 18-year-old senior at Navajo High School, was named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-Region team for the Navajo Lady Indians. Chapman was a post for the Lady Indians and will play the same position for the MACU Lady Evangels.
Chapman was a three-time All-Conference selection for the Navajo Lady Indians.
"Kathryn is a wonderful Christian young lady and a very gifted and talented basketball player," MACU Women's Basketball Coach Markus Crandall said. "We are excited to have her combination of skill and height joining our program. Her potential is unlimited and I believe she will have a great basketball career here at MACU. She will be the tallest women's basketball player to have ever played for the Lady Evangels."
MACU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Sooner Athletic Conference.
