GAME TIMES SET FOR SUNDAY'S DAYTON REGIONAL

Tickets Are On Sale at the UD Arena Ticket Office

The game times have been set for the Sweet Sixteen games from the Dayton Region as the 2007 NCAA Women's Basketball Division I Tournament continues on Sunday, March 25.

Starting at noon EST from UD Arena, the top seed Tennessee Lady Vols battle the tournament's Cinderella story, the No. 13 seed Marist Red Foxes.

Then at 2:30 p.m. EST, the No. 3 seeded Oklahoma Sooners battle the No. 7 seed Mississippi Rebels in game two of the doubleheader.

Tuesday's Regional Championship game time is still to be determined.

Noon - Marist Red Foxes vs. Tennessee Lady Vols
2:30 p.m. - Mississippi Rebels vs. Oklahoma Sooners

In addition to the games, Saturday's team practices are free and open to the public. The four-team practices run back-to-back from noon to 3:50 p.m. EST.

2-2:50 p.m. - Mississippi
3-3:50 p.m. - Oklahoma

Tennessee, 30-3 overall, defeated the Drake Bulldogs 76-37 on Sunday and the No. 8 seed Pittsburgh Panthers 68-54 on Tuesday. The Volunteers advanced to the Sweet Sixteen for the 26th consecutive season.

Their opponent, the Marist Red Foxes, upset the No. 4 seed Ohio State Buckeyes 67-63 on Friday and the No. 5 seed Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders 73-59 on Monday. Marist, 29-5 overall, is only the third No. 13 seed to make it to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament history.

Oklahoma, 28-4 overall, toppled the No. 14 seed Southeast Missouri State Redhawks 74-60 on Saturday and the No. 6 seeded Marquette Golden Eagles 78-47 on Monday. Sooner sophomore center Courtney Paris is an All-American and has tallied 60 consecutive double-doubles.

Mississippi made its way to the Sweet Sixteen after defeating the No. 10 seed TCU Horned Frogs 88-74 on Sunday and the defending national champions, the No. 2 seed Maryland Terrapins 89-78 on Tuesday. This is Mississippi's 17th trip to the NCAA Tournament, but the first appearance in the third round since 1992.
