Former Basketball Player Cal Bouchard Honored as an ACC Women's Basketball Legend

BOSTON, Mass. - Former Boston College guard, Cal Bouchard has been named one of the Atlantic Coast Conference's Women's Basketball Legends. The inaugural ACC Legends Brunch will be held on Saturday, March 4, at the Greensboro (N.C) Coliseum. The 12 honorees, one from each ACC school, will be introduced at the ACC Women's Basketball Tournament at halftime of the semifinal games.

Cal Bouchard, who played for the Eagles from 1996-2000, is one of the 12 honorees in this year's inaugural class. Bouchard was a two-time All-Big East first team selection and a Kodak All-District I team honoree in 1999-00. Bouchard is Boston College's career leader in three-point field goals made and is tied for fifth for career points with 1,496. Bouchard played for the Canadian women's basketball team at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney and was the first Canadian drafted in the WNBA in 2000.
