As the women's college basketball season winds down and the conference and NCAA tournaments begin to heat up, Maryland's veteran senior leader, All-American candidate at guard Shay Doron will chronicle the final chapter in her illustrious career, as she looks to lead the Terps to a  repeat run at the national championship.

One more home game left ...

"Wow," is all that comes to mind.

It's been a tough stretch the last few weeks. We had not lost two straight games in two years!  I guess you can say we have been pretty spoiled (in a good way, of course) here at Maryland.

Although we lost to two very good teams, we left them as though both games were within our reach to win and we simply could not pull it together. The only good thing about losing is that you learn more from it than you could from any win, which will definitely make us better and prepare us for the ultimate goal and that's winning another national championship.

We have a tough stretch coming up now, as well, with three away games and my final home game at a sold out Comcast Center against Duke. There is no better way to go out in my mind! (That, and a win, of course.)

This semester, for me, has been quite different from my previous ones. I do not have to worry about school since I've already completed my required courses in order to graduate and I am currently taking only two credits.

A bowling class (no, I am not good) and an internship with the U.S. Marshals Office, which I am very grateful for and excited to be a part of. Other than that, I spend my days playing my new guitar (which I am also not good at ... yet) and enjoying the little time I have remaining with my favorite people on earth ... my teammates!
