The NAIA National Player of the Week is outside hitter, Shamsu Awudu from California Baptist University. Awudu is from Ghana, and average 5.00 kills per game while hitting .438 overall. This helped California Baptist to a 1-1 record this week, posting a win over Johnson and Wales while losing to NCAA No. 11 Cal-State Northridge. Awudu is currently a senior at California Baptist and has helped his team to a 13-6 record and current No. 1 ranking in the latest coaches poll.
The NAIA National Setter of the Week is J.P. DaSilva from Park University. DaSilva averaged 10.93 assists per game helping his team to a 5-0 record this week including a win over No. 3 Lindenwood University. DaSilva is a junior from Minas Gerais, Brazil. Park is currently ranked No. 2 in the NAIA National Coaches Poll with an overall record of 19-2.
The NAIA National Libero of the Week is Nebojsa Janovic from Park University. Janovic is from Budva, Montenegro, and averaged 3.25 digs per game with a perfect passing efficiency. His excellent ball control was an important factor in his teams 5-0 record this week. Currently, Park University is ranked No. 2 in the NAIA National Coaches Poll.
