CHICAGO - The Loyola University Chicago men's volleyball team's 2006 recruiting class has been ranked 10th nationally in the January, 2006 issue of Volleyball Magazine. Two of the Ramblers' incoming freshmen - Nick Lamoureux (Wheaton, Ill.) and David Swigart (Aurora, Ill.) - were members of the publication's Fab 50 high school seniors last year. LU takes on four teams that are ranked on the list, which includes UCLA and MIVA foe Ohio State.
"I'm think we're honored to have a highly ranked recruiting class coming in this season that will gain lots of experience on the floor," said LU's third-year head coach Shane Davis. "These guys have played against some good caliber players in the club and high school ranks and that will help us in the long run."
