Spokane, Wash. - The Gonzaga University men's tennis dropped a 5-2 decision to West Coast Conference foe University of Portland Saturday in Portland, Ore.

Gonzaga's (5-12) lone points of the afternoon came at the No. 4 and No. 5 spots in singles play as Conor Feeney and Cooper Fratt posted victories. Feeney defeated the Pilots' (10-60 Bryan Thorp in three sets 3-6, 6-3, 10-6 while playing in the No. 4 spot. At No. 5, Fratt posted a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Evan Schleining. Stefen Feddersen broke his win streak for GU as the junior dropped a 7-5, 7-5 decision to Joel Kincaid at No. 1, while Roman Dojcak fell 6-3, 6-1 to Filip Zivkoivc at No. 2. Playing No. 3, Zack Radetzky dropped a 3-6, 6-1, 6-2 decision to Dillon Pottish. Rounding out singles play, at No. 6, Charles Adams dropped a 6-3, 6-0 outing to Charlie Yemm.

In doubles play, Zivkovic and Yemm defeated Radetzky and Fedderesen 8-6, while Schleining and Domoney downed Logan Napolsky and Roman Dojcak 9-8. GU won the No. 3 contest as Fratt and Feeney downed Kincaid and Wales 8-1.

The Bulldogs return to action Sunday, as they face UC Riverside in Portland, Ore.
