ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville won the doubles point and got victories from Rob Nunnery and Mauricio Correa but fell to UNC Greensboro, 4-3 in men's college tennis at the Asheville Racquet Club Sunday evening.
"We battled and played well but just couldn't get past a good UNC Greensboro team," commented Asheville coach Larry Hubbard. "We're getting better with each match."
The Bulldogs fell to 0-2 on the young season and will be in action again this Friday afternoon at Big South Conference rival High Point.
