Auburn, Ala. - No. 40 Auburn men's tennis returns to action on Saturday against No. 37 Georgia Tech at 12 p.m. All home matches this season will be played on the Auburn Intramural Courts. The Tigers extended the win streak to four after defeating South Florida on Feb. 11. Georgia Tech is 2-2 this season, having just lost to top-ranked Georgia on Tuesday.

"This is a good match for us to have as we prepare for the SEC season," head coach Eric Shore said. "Georgia Tech always brings good competition and the match has been close the past few times we have played them. It will be good preparation for our newer guys as we move closer to our conference season."

This will mark the 32nd meeting between Auburn and Georgia Tech as the Ramblin' Wreck hold the all-time series advantage 11-20. The last time the two teams met was Feb. 26, 2006, in Auburn. Georgia Tech defeated the Tigers 4-3, by capturing the doubles points and victories at No. 1, 5 and 6 singles. The last time Auburn defeated Georgia Tech was Feb. 26, 2005 (4-3).

Five Tigers have not lost in singles action so far this year. Leading the way with a 4-0 record is senior Robbert Lathouwers, who has seen action at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots. Lathouwers and sophomore Lukas Marsoun have also fared well in doubles play, as the duo has a 3-0 ledger to date. Junior Pawel Dilaj and sophomore Alexey Tsyrenov are 3-0 in singles play.

Auburn has swept three of its opponents - Samford, North Florida and Troy - and have only dropped one set in singles play in four straight matches. Georgia Tech boasts two players currently ranked in the top-100 in singles play - No. 36 David North and No. 100 Eric Molner.
