Saint Louis Men's Soccer Moves To 17th In NSCAA Top 25

Saint Louis midfielder Kyle Patterson named TopDrawerSoccer.com's National Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The Saint Louis men's soccer team outscored its opponents 8-1 to finish 2-0 on the week and move up to No. 17 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) top 25 poll. Charlotte (2-0-0) is also receiving votes (22) in the NSCAA poll.

The Billikens were led by senior midfielder Kyle Patterson who garnered A-10 Player of the Week honors and earned national accolades after being named TopDrawerSoccer.com's Player of the Week and landing on CollegeSoccerNews.com's National Team of the Week. Patterson posted three goals, including both gamewinners, and two assists to lead the league with eight points on the week.

Saint Louis is next in action when it hosts seventh-ranked Connecticut at Hermann Stadium on Sept. 13 at 8:00 p.m. (ET).
