CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Following a solid start to the 2008 campaign, senior goalkeeper Tom Caldwell was selected the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men’s Soccer Player of the Week. Through three starts for the Engineers (4-0), he has compiled a 3-0 record, 16 saves, two shutouts, a .941 save percentage, a 0.33 goals against average, and has surrendered only one goal.

Caldwell posted five saves in a 2-0 decision over Salve Regina University, followed by three saves in a 4-1 win over Endicott College. In his last appearance in net, he collected eight saves en route to a 2-0 victory over nationally-ranked No. 20 Colorado College.
