Men's Lacrosse to Face Navy in NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals

Charlottesville, Va. - The University of Virginia men's lacrosse team plays Navy in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament this Saturday (May 21) at Homewood Field on the campus of Johns Hopkins University. Faceoff is scheduled for 3 pm.

Virginia's game against the Midshipmen follows the Johns Hopkins vs. Massachusetts that is set for a noon start.

The Cavaliers advanced to the quarterfinals following a 23-9 win over Albany last Saturday in Charlottesville. Navy downed Delaware 9-7 to advance.

Tickets are $ 12 for adults and students of the participating schools with student ID, and $ 10 for youth 12-and-under. All seating is general admission. The University of Virginia athletics ticket office has a very limited number of tickets available. Call the UVa ticket office at 1-800-542-8821 / UVA1 to purchase tickets in advance. A sell out is expected.

Virginia is 10-3 this season and seeded fourth in the tournament. Navy, champions of the Patriot League, is 12-3 overall and is the tournament's fifth seed.
