BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott's Eddie O'Reilly (Beverly, Mass.) scored a total of six goals, including the games first three, to help push the nationally-ranked Gulls to a 16-6 win over fourth-seeded Roger Williams University on Thursday night in Beverly, Mass. With the win, top-seeded Endicott will host No. 2 Western New England College in the conference finals on Saturday afternoon.

O'Reilly sparked the Gulls out of the gate as the junior midfielder scored three unassisted goals just five-minutes apart in the first quarter to give EC a quick 3-0 lead. The Hawks' Beaver Barone (Weymouth, Mass.) broke-up the scoring streak as he swept home a rebound goal off the stick of Endicott's Eric Hagarty (Sudbury, Mass.) to make a it a two-goal game. Dan Cain (Billerica, Mass.) was quick to respond as he spun off his defender less than two minutes later and beat Bobby Hensley (Simsbury, Conn.) stick-side high. Endicott would end the first quarter with a 4-2 lead.

After a combined six goals in the opening 15 minutes of play, both teams settled down on their respective ends. Beaver Barone was first to strike in the second frame, finding a hole in the lower left-hand corner to make it a one goal game. Dan Cain once again helped answer the bell for the Gulls, collecting a nice back-door feed from Brad Lipkvich (Madison, Conn.) and beating Hensley with a fake-high, shoot low move at the top of the crease. Eddie O'Reilly shot the Blue and Green into the break with his fourth of the night, burying a blistering crank-shot from 15 yards out that was simply too quick for the RWU netminder. The goal gave Endicott a 6-3 halftime advantage.

The second half belonged to the hosts, as Endicott scored 10 goals in the final 30 minutes of play. Roger Williams opened the frame with back-to-back goals from Dave Hurley (Hanover, Mass.) and a man-up tally from Joe Healy (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) to make it a 6-5 game. From there, Endicott rattled-off 10 straight goals, including four in a 3:11 span to push the game out of reach.

Eddie O'Reilly posted a game-high six goals and one assist for seven points. Dan Cain was also impressive, scoring four goals and dishing out one helper in the winning effort. Nick Cosco (Londonderry, N.H.) had two goals and two assists, while classmate Brandon Dube (Danvers, Mass.) found the back of the net three times for the Blue and Green. Eric Hagarty picked up the win in net, turning away 15 shots for the top-seeded Gulls.

Roger Williams was paced by Beaver Barone's two goals on four shots. Four other Hawks scored a goal in the semifinal loss. Bobby Hensley made 14 saves for the visitors.

With the win, the 14th-ranked Gulls improve to 16-2 overall and will host the conference finals on Saturday afternoon at Endicott Stadium. The Blue and Green will welcome the much-anticipated rematch with TCCC newcomer, Western New England College. The Gulls defeated the Golden Bears thrilling double-overtime fashion on April 15th in Beverly, Mass. Game time is to be announced.
