Despite the fact that it is in the midst of its exam and holiday break, the Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team moved up three spots in this week's United States College Hockey Online poll. The Bobcats (8-4-4, 5-2-3 ECAC Hockey League), who currently sit atop the ECACHL, jumped to No. 17 in the USCHO poll. Quinnipiac also remained at No. 17 in the Inside College Hockey power rankings as well.
For the Bobcats, it is their highest ever ranking in the USCHO poll. Quinnipiac previously ranked No. 20 on three occasions (11/7/05, 11/19/06, 12/11/06).
