Men's Golf in Sixth Through Two Rounds at the Elco CSUB Invitational

FRESNO, Calif. - Through two rounds of play at the Elco CSUB Invitational, Fresno State (299-292 - 591) stands in sixth place. Arizona shot rounds of 280-288 - 568 at the par-72 Bakersfield Country Club to stand in first, and host CSU Bakersfield (287-286 - 573) is in second.

Jason Anthony was the top `Dog on the course Monday and stands in a tie for 10th place shooting rounds of 72-73 - 145. Brian Ward (75-71) is close behind in a tie for 12th after registering 146. Nick McClintock (149) improved upon his first round 76 to shoot 73 in the second round and now stands in a tie for 26th. Gunnar Avinelis (76-75 - 151) is in 36th and Mark Pryor (81-80 - 161) is in 72nd.

Play continues tomorrow with tee times scheduled to start at 7 a.m.
