RESULTS
FARMVILLE, VA - The Winston-Salem State Rams golf team kicked things off this fall when the team took part in the Manor Intercollegiate. The Rams finished in ninth place in the tournament with a team score of 646. Playing on the 18-hole, Manor Resort Golf Club in Prince Edward County, Virginia, the Rams played two 18-hole rounds on the first day of the tournament.
As a team, the squad posted a 327 in the first round, followed by a 319 in the second round.
WSSU junior Steven Mason is currently leading the way for the Rams with a total 155 for the Rams. He shot an 82 in the first round, followed by a second score of 73. Not far behind was fellow Ram junior Jerrell Fields added a 156 total score. He shot a 74 in the first round followed by an 82 in the second round.
