MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Former Loyola College golfer T.J. Shuart '05 finished tied for 19th in stroke play competition at the 28th United States Mid-Amateur Golf Championship and was one of 64 golfers to advance to match play.

Shuart, who also competed in the U.S. Amateur earlier this summer, shot a two-round total of four-over par in stroke play on Saturday and Sunday.

He advanced to match play competition where he was edged by a stroke over 18 holes by Jack Kearney of Peachtree City, Ga.
