RedHawk Golfers Travel to West Virginia to Compete in Marshall Invitational

Miami Looks to Continue Momentum After Second-Place Finish at Hoosier Invitational

Miami University's men's golf team travels to Huntington, W. Va., to compete in the Marshall Invitational April 4-5.

The RedHawks are coming off of a second-place finish at the Hoosier Invitational (March 29-30) on the Indiana University Championship Golf Course with three RedHawks finishing among the top 12. Junior Ben Wood tied for third place after shooting 67-77, while junior Ben Bastel tied for ninth and freshman Michael Drobnick tied for 12th.

Miami's second-place finish at the Hoosier Invitational marked the third time this season the RedHawks have finished among the top five.

Including Miami, the field at the Marshall Invitational consists of 20 teams: Northwestern, Toledo, Kent State, Kentucky, Ohio State, Marshall, Purdue, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Eastern Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, Louisville, Akron, Michigan State and Murray State.

The RedHawk lineup for this weekend consist of juniors Ben Wood and Ben Bastel, and freshmen Michael Drobnick, Matt Stasiak and Nathan Sutherland.
