Kyle Prolo Leads ISU Golf Team After One Round Of Play

St George, UT -- After one round of play in the Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational Idaho State is led by Kyle Prolo who shot an opening round of 71. Prolo is currently two shots under par and tied for 21st place overall. Prolo shot a 39-32--71 to place him in a tie for 21st place.

Mark Cowman shot the next lowest score for the Bengals. Cowman currently sits in a tie for 55th place after shooting 38-36--74 for the first round. Both Steven Peters and KJ Weissenbuehler posted scores of 79 strokes through one round. Peters finished the round with a score of 41-38--79 while Weissenbuehler finished with a score of 38-41--79. Peters and Weissenbuehler are tied in 91st place. Dylan Meyer shot a round of 45-39--84 through the first round. Meyer is in 107th place.

As a team ISU sits in eighteenth place with a cumulative score of 303 strokes. ISU is only 2 shots back from its closest competitor and only 9 shots back from tenth place. ISU will resume competition at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday the 13th.
